Ashden Award winners 2020 – inspiring!

The award winners themselves give me hope – there are people out there who are helping others to have a better, sustainable future, putting people and planet first!

And hope from listening to people who have the power to do something about the biggest climate issues, like Sharon Burrow, the Secretary General of the International Trade Union Federation (207 Million members in 163 countries, with vast pension funds to invest) and President of the NUS and Founder of Teach the Future Zamzam Ibrahim and finally inspirational poetry from young writer and performer Rakaya Fetugal.

So make yourself a mug of coffee, sit down and watch the 2020 Ashden Award winners video.

And if you go to the Ashden website’s 2020 Award Winners page and click on the Winners link at the top of the page you can read about the other 225 winners over the 16 years of the awards!
